Pi Day was pie day

I forgot to mention a very charming practice my high school recently adopted–this year on Pi Day (March 14; 3.14) our principal ordered pie to be delivered to every classroom the last period of the day.

Since our school focuses on math, engineering, and science, it was a fitting tribute. Celebrate mathematics! Ignore popularity contests! It’s what we DO at AMES.
