He was miffed, though, that we were losing time, so when we got back on the road he thought he’d try to make it up.
Pull it over, son. Mom’s driving.
And now, on a completely different subject (and one I’ve neglected lately—)
Remember a little shawl project called “Charlotte’s Web”? All the rage a few years ago.
That bitch.
Picked her up again while on vay-cay. The Koigu calls to me, you know? But this lace pattern makes me surly. It’s not that it’s a difficult pattern, but to me it seems to defy logic. I’ve finally got the hang of it, and I like the colorway, but I’ve tinked more than I’ve knit on this sucker.
But she WILL NOT defeat me. I’ll show HER who’s boss.
Don’t make me pull this car over.

Fires are all over the West…it’s so sad to watch our over dry forests burn! Read the lace, read the lace…Charlotte wants to be read. You’ll do it!!
