Everyone need a Durofix

Where have you been all my life?

I found this sweet thing at Costco, for about $20, and, wow–it’s come in so handy since I moved. It’s lightweight, rechargeable, sturdy, and since it’s about 6″ tall, it fits my hand just fine. I’ve been looking for an electric screwdriver, but the ones I’ve found have all been bigger, bulkier, and heavier. Not this cutie. It’s built IKEA beds, installed door hooks, hung pictures–you name it.

Love it.

I’ve had my eye on that thing since it made its first appearance at Costco. I’ve had a hard time justifying buying it because I already have a wunnerful cordless drill that also drives screws, etc. But, you might have just convinced me. A week doesn’t go by when I don’t get at the Makita, but it’s big and I always seem to have to search for it or its bits. I think I’ll get one of these to put in my kitchen drawer.

Hope your first day back for the school season is a good one. I will light a candle for David for you today.

Eileen ~ I have one of those, too, but I never use it because it’s so damn heavy. It’s cordless, and so has this behemoth of a battery pack which is just ridiculous.

    I love this little baby.

I looked for it at Costco on Monday, but I couldn’t find it. So sad. I was looking forward to torqueing some screws, man.
