Something new at Blessed Juno

Things have been a little wonky over at the blessed juno site; a couple customers emailed me to let me know that they were being charged a full shipping charge on each bar of soap they purchased. Wha? I refunded those goofs and then went to investigate.

It’s all fixed, now, and while I was in there fooling around I decided to try a little experiment. For a limited time (?) you can purchase half-size bars of any variety, except for hand knit. This gives customers an opportunity to try new scents rather than plunk down for a whole bar they aren’t sure they’ll love (I love them all, but that’s just me).

Also, per Susan’s suggestion (so you don’t have to scroll forever to get to the soaps at the bottom of the page), I made new pages that group soaps by scent: floral/herbal, mint, citrus, spicy, and unscented. Hand knit has it’s own page.

And, COMING SOON, a new scent for the hand spinners out there:

Like hand knit, hand spun has lanolin and shea butter, for a truly luxurious bar. Hand spun was a big hit at the Great Basin Fiber Arts Fair, and as I’ve taken a shine to spinning myself, I thought it was appropriate to add this new bar. It’s scented with palmarosa, lavender, and orange essential oils. Quite lovely, if I do say so myself. It should be available in late October, in time for holiday giving. As with hand knit, however, this bar is not sold in half-sizes.

Spread the word, my friends!
