My fence, this morning, at ten o’clock.
Looking out my front door, an hour or so later.
It’s a bonafide blizzard right now. And my DS is out driving in it, because he borrowed his dad’s car last night and his dad INSISTED he return it this morning. Even after he called and said he was nervous to drive in snow like this, because he never had. He sent me a text from the road awhile ago:
DS: WOW. This is hard.
ME: I know, hon. Take it slowly and stay to the right. Slow WAY down to turn.
I anxiously await his return.

Apparently my neighbors across the street have a heated driveway. I’ve never even seen one before, but what else accounts for this? ETA: As soon as it stopped snowing, the driveway started to DRY.

um. salt? and shoveling?? the sun was out a few minutes ago and now it’s snowing (again) after melting and blowing a gale.

It’s pretty but it’s much nicer when everyone you love is safe and home. I’m sure he’ll be back soon and all will be well. Hunker down and do some knitting and spinning!
Posted 01 Dec 2007 at 1:29 pm ¶For no reason known to me, some older guy I don’t know on a tractor came and plowed my driveway yesterday. I only had about 5 minutes of time with the shovel to do my front steps and the little bit of sidewalk right in front of the house.
Hope you stayed warm and got some knitting done.
