I think racism is a major problem in the US and one that doesn’t get the open discussion it deserves. I’d like to talk more about how to combat racism, especially in the US, and work toward healing the wounds it has inflicted. I believe that racism stems from issues of power in Whiteness and is primarily a White issue. I don’t define racism and racial prejudice as the same thing. I believe racism is racial prejudice + power to oppress.
